Our Purpose
Curious Minds Studio is a thoughtfully curated environment that naturally invites investigation through open-ended materials, provoking interest and encouraging engagement for young children. Rather than focusing on final products in the studio, we prioritize active learning, allowing children ample time and space to embrace discovery, find wonder, and test theories at their own pace. Our studio empowers children to freely engage with the world around them, using their innate abilities and curious minds to construct knowledge and develop relationships.
We strive to honor the voice of every child through rich environments and meaningful relationships, treating each child as the unique being that they are. We recognize the importance of creating a warm, loving space where children are valued as capable citizens of today so that they may grow into capable citizens who carry us forward through all the tomorrows.

With more than two decades of shared expertise in Early Childhood Education, Lindsey and Becca both earned their bachelor’s degrees in child development from UNC-Greensboro. Their professional journey has been defined by fostering genuine, lasting connections with families, rooted in a culture of mutual respect and kindness. Throughout their careers, they have nurtured countless young learners while simultaneously evolving as educators themselves. A pivotal transformation occurred when they explored the Reggio-Emilia Approach, which fundamentally shifted their perspective on child-centered environments. Today, they are dedicated advocates for viewing children as competent individuals with valid thoughts and feelings. They are committed to providing every child with an intentional, beautiful setting where they can actively construct their own knowledge about the world and form meaningful relationships within their community.
